Its a curious thing, when you decide to write publicly about something so private as post partum depression. But the thing is there is too much silence about this prevalent issue and sometimes generating conversation about it is the only way to break down the stigma and ignorance and the subsequent ignorant things people say about this particular mental health issue.

The reason I am doing it is because acknowledging and dealing with mental health has changed me as a person, and especially as an artist. And I believe it is important to g8ve voice to those changes as well as talk about the gift of fresh perspective I have received through the tough journey of change I have been through.
